This position is the overall lead for all (Seattle City Light) SCL environmental cleanups, including Superfund, responsible

 for overseeing highly technical cleanup issues, as well as negotiating strategic and policy issues with partners,

outside parties, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.

 

Position Description   

This position is the overall lead for all (Seattle City Light) SCL environmental cleanups, including Superfund, responsible for overseeing highly technical cleanup issues, as well as negotiating strategic and policy issues with partners, outside parties, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Represents SCL in the City’s contaminated sediment program. This position works with our SPU environmental liability partner providing key input into the reporting of SCL environmental liability. The position coordinates budgetary information from all cleanup project managers to maintain future year budgetary estimates and manages consultant contracts. The position reports to the Manager, Environmental Management and Compliance Unit.
